In this presentation I will discuss effective adaptation of OER resources for Math and Statistics instruction.

Open Educational Resources (OER) provide a major benefit for students in terms of affordability and ease of access. OER resources level the playing field for students to promote equity and inclusion for all students.
However finding and selecting the best OER resources for a particular course is challenging and time consuming since there is not a single repository or direct method to evaluate and select OER materials.
In this presentation I will discuss strategies for locating and identifying optimal resources, how to evaluate the resourse, how to ensure the resources meet the goal of equity and inclusion for students and effective adaptation of OER resources for Math and Statistics instruction.
