Brief Abstract

Networked collaborative Holographic Imagery, Augmented Reality, real time seamless data integration, and advanced AI/analytics are essential enablers in next generation connected and remote learning. Our approach integrates advanced Holographics, Augmented Reality, Fusion Software, and udStream software which provides unprecedented interactive collaborative operations to accelerate and improve learning capabilities with unlimited audience engagement and facilitates remote technical colaboration at an unprecedented level.     

Extended Abstract

Our goal is to provide connected collaborative holographic visualization for research and development and student instruction via Holo-Table and Holo-Pod capabilities. The Holographic Table and Holo-Pod through Weisman Worldwide, with its patented new revolutionary approach offers a solution to access and visualize unlimited amounts of data density and size in real-time on any standard PC or laptop. It compresses data to 5-20% of its original size without degrading quality and enabling it to be viewed via udStream in less than a second It can run client data on entry level computers, laptop systems, and even some tablets, streaming directly from the hard drive or USB external drives. The udStream solution provides the “Holy Grail” of Unlimited Data in Unlimited Detail Real Time Visualization, literally managing petabytes of data in a second. udStream, supported by our udCloud solution which is powered by Microsoft Azure, provides the ability to host 3D point cloud data in a central repository in the Cloud for enterprise dissemination, supported by multiple global servers. This solution provides the capability to view point cloud data converted from industry standard formats. Data is viewed in 2D or stereoscopic 3D without the historical lengthy loading times. There is no dependency on high end computer hardware and no need for multiple local storage points of 3D models if an internet connection is available - 3D models can be hosted at a single location. The Holo Table and udStream capability allows for the integration of Unlimited Detail tools and features. This is advantageous to organizations that currently have robust functionalities in their own applications and want to improve performance through UD technology. The structure of the SDK provides the flexibility to incorporate only those UD functionalities that are pertinent to the third party’s application. Our FUSION software is designed and developed for distributed collaboration & 3D visualization capability for Multi-Domain Operations (MDO) and distributed Live, Virtual, Constructive (LVC) training. FUSION employs cloud gaming technologies to provide a real-time, collaborative, fast, distributed, and immersive 3D visualization capability to enable and enhance a user’s ability to UNDERSTAND, VISUALIZE, and ASSESS disparate data for on-going training & research operations. FUSION can be deployed along a spectrum of methods, from cloud based to an executable application on a standard laptop or desktop. It enables geographically separated users to access a common virtual collaborative environment and the tools, resources and applications to plan, prepare, execute and assess as a team. It ingests data from local and remote systems and sources across all domains and provides a high-fidelity integrated 3D visualization. Integrated Cloud Computing provides access to standard 2D desktop working environment inside the virtual environment to enable remote systems interfacing for real-time access to applications, tools, resources and information. Our approach leverages advanced visualization capabilities of modern game engines, flexible toggling of visualization modes and game industry practices for visualization of abstract concepts. Users have access to creative and intuitive methods of visualization of entity relationships, systems such as platform-based, communication-based, or nodal depictions.
