Extended Abstract
At the start of 2020, no one could have predicted the trajectory of higher education. We have experienced shifts in the labor market and been forced to rethink the education landscape. Join us for an in-depth analysis of the current labor market and higher education landscape based on a comprehensive survey of the behavior and activity of employers, employees, and students. During the conversation, we’ll share:
- Job market gaps in the current economy and into the future – and how schools help fill those gaps
- How the pandemic impacted worker’s view on job security and future education plans
- The outlook for the employment market for 2022
- How the coronavirus impacted online program enrollments
- How and where today’s students want to study now
- How prospective student behavior has changed in the past few years
This presentation is filled with relevant data points that will spark conversation. We will point out the most surprising or compelling items that today's educators should be aware of.
