Extended Abstract

Wondering where to start when it comes to refreshing your course? Come on a journey with us as we explore effective strategies and engaging ideas for rejuvenating your course. Leave with a virtual backpack of inclusive resources that give all students equal opportunities to succeed and improve your course quality.

We will discuss strategies and the benefits that you will gain by refreshing your courses. Come and learn how to implement small impactful changes identified by the insight gained from reviewing your course through the lens of experience.

In this session, we will guide you through a workflow template (handout) to make informed decisions on transforming your course into an effective, dynamic eLearning experience. Participants will be asked to respond and share resources during this session.

We will help you:

  • investigate how to remove barriers to student success

  • infuse clarity

  • better position students to navigate the course

  • successfully achieve the course learning outcomes

  • break your course refreshment into achievable, incremental action items

  • triage elements for course refreshments.

A course that is intuitive to navigate and aligned allows students to focus their time on learning. Hindsight is 20/20. Let’s maximize this adage to remove roadblocks and ensure students complete the journey successfully and are not lost along the way.
