Preparing students for success starts at inquiry! Participants will learn how Athens State University implemented Archer’s digital student experience platform with a significant application increase. Gain resources and templates to plan meaningful experiences focused on completion rates. Learn how automation scales efforts and empowers internal teams to focus on connection.

Presenters

Angie Mohr is the Senior Vice President of Student Engagement at Archer Education. With a background in marketing, communications and CRM & marketing automation, she brings over 15 years of strategic communications and higher education experience. In her current role at Archer Education, a full-service marketing and enrollment solutions provider for higher education institutions, Angie focuses on supporting student acquisition and lifecycle delivery services, utilizing scalable communications strategies and technologies to help prospective students engage, enroll, and persist in the student journey.
Dr. Kim LaFevor is the Interim Vice President of Global, Corporate & Community relations at Athens State University. During her 18-year tenure at the university, she has also served in other administrative roles to include Senior Executive to the President for Strategy & Innovation, Interim Vice President for Academic Affairs, and Dean for the College of Business. In addition to 32 years in higher education with community college, private and public institutions, she had a 21-year career in advanced manufacturing with General Motors holding progressively responsible managerial and executive roles in human resources and labor relations, the last 7 years as Plant Personnel Director-General Motors Saturn Service Parts Operations. A native of Detroit, Michigan, LaFevor has a Bachelor of Science Degree with dual majors in Psychology and Personnel Psychology, a Master’s of Science Degree in Human Resources Management, and a Doctorate of Business Administration with dual majors in Management and Education.

Preparing students to be successful in the online environment starts the moment they inquire. In this workshop, participants will learn how Athens State University implemented self-exploration software during the enrollment process and saw a significant increase in online applications over the prior year. Participants will be provided resources and templates to help you plan meaningful, digital student engagement experiences that will increase term-to-term completion rates for online students. Learn how automation and personalization can scale enrollment efforts and empower your internal team to focus on what matters most: building connections.
